Democratic Take Over Bad News for Space Program

Now that the Democrats have successfully taken over both houses of congress (it appears), there are likely to be grave consequences for both the American space program and the American people. I'll spare readers what I think of the new house and senate leadership -- you've got plenty of places in the blogosphere to get conventional political opinion-- and simply say the Republicans had it coming for the last several years of timid leadership.

The more important factor in this change is what it does to president Bush's plans for Moon and Mars exploration, what it will mean for a possible ballistic missile defense, and what the impact will be on NASA's overall budget.

While most of the democrats who won seats on Tuesday ran as moderates, the fact remains that the leadership of the party is stacked with radical, America hating far-leftists who have little use for a space program or anything that would make America safer. You can expect to see Bush's space exploration program under immediate assault, with democrats attempting to divert the money to other programs in an effort to buy votes in the next election cycle. Liberals of the ilk of Nancy Pelosi, Charles Rangel and (recently impeached for fraud) former Federal Judge Alcie Hastings will do what liberals always do: they will radically cut defense and high tech spending in order to fund these pet programs.

Richard's position is that the Space Initiative is too important to be cut, but I still think that real world politics may not reflect secret agendas. How vigorously Bush defends his plans will tell us a lot about which one of us is right.

After reading your blog, it is clear that you do not have a clue as to what is really going on politcally in our country.

I'll start out by saying that I am a liberal democrat and I support space exploration.

The Democrats that were elected in the last cycle - they are at best "Centrists" and at worst "Illuminists". Many Republicans and Democrats in Congress are members of The Council on Foreign Relations. This sounds innocent enough until you find out what their core mission is: To quote long time CFR member and mentor to Bill Clinton, Carroll Quigly: "The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is the American Branch of a society which originated in England ... (and) ... believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule
established."-- Professor of History Carroll Quigley, Georgetown University, in his book "Tragedy and Hope".
Some notable members in this fascist organization are, Wolfowitz, Clinton (and Bill), Biden, Edwards, Obama, Richardson, Dodd, Texaco, Mobile, Exxon, Al Gore, Ford, General Motors, Dick Cheney, George Bush, Sr., etc., etc. I can't confirm that Nancy Pelosi is a member, but she has given several speeches the at the CFR and always mentions in her introduction that she is "honored to be here".

My point is, all of the above mentioned people have no desire to cut the military budget.

But --- I wouldn't jump up and down with joy because these "people" want to subvert democracy, shred our constitution, and merge the US like Kinkos with Fed Ex into a New World Order.

What's so great about a Bush Space Program anyway?. All he cares about is putting weapons in space, and exploiting whatever planet he can get his hands on for its resources.

I'm supporting Dennis Kucinich for President. Now calm down and listen. He wants to cut the military budget* HOWEVER, he also wants to cut the ambilical cord between the Defense Dept. and NASA.
He definitely supports a space program, but not a program that is linked to the Military Industrial Complex hell bent on putting weapons in space.

Furthermore, he would like to see and open and tranparent space program. How can you stop the coverup and tampering with images if NASA is under the thumb of the Pentagon?

If you really want a decent space program, I suggest you give serious consideration to becoming a swing voter.

With Respects,

Susan Lynn Rapp

*Dennis Kucinich would take some money from the Military budget for free college.

Well, having been an army Officer & pilot and member of the Army Security Agency ...for 5 years during the Laos cum vietnam M.I.C. heroin cartel & cash cow debacle era, ...and splashed around in their filthy blood until I finally wised up to their scumbag character; And subsequently having studied the M.I.C. Empire / Fourth Reich and it's goons for 37 years now; And having kept quite well abreast of Richard Hoagland's work for over 20 years now, and respected allot of it; ...It has seemed to me that Richard was keeping Mike Bara around as a go-fer and pencil sharpener; And now I realize why; That's about the extent of his autonymous intelligence. It's rather obvious that Bara doesn't have a clue about who & what the Fourth Reich is that's the very people pulling the very NASA strings "his" / Hoagland's new book is all about. Who the heck does Mike think owns NASA lock, stock and barrel, ...and who / where all the NASA mystical / occult bull-butter originates??? Seems to me that it would serve Bara well to go do some even-elementary research and studies about Black Ops to learn that his ego and self-importance is rubbing up against his foes legs like a purring cheshire cat ...and doesn't even realize it (or does he?????). What concerns me is that Hoagland has kept Mike on board after such an erroneous, ignorant and ludicrous blog posting as this one. Maybe Richard hasn't discovered this one yet ...but should; Lest it stains Hoagland's work and reputation like I sit here so stunned and perplexed. Suggestion, Mike: See www.amairka.homestead.com/links2.html and www.madcowprod.com . Sign me, "Absolutely amazed"........
