Face it, You're a Jackass...
Once again, we have a new image of the Face on Mars, and once again we have a series of seemingly coordinated mainstream press attacks designed to convince people there's "nothing to see here."
Besides the usual tripe from the usual suspects (like Space.com's NASA shills Leonard David and Rob Roy Britt), this time we had the testimony of a supposed "converted believer" attacking Richard Hoagland personally on the official MRO website.
The disinformational tripe of David and Britt is bad enough, but when the NASA folks have to drag out a phony "believer" for a personal attack on Richard, you know they are getting desperate. This "believer," Richard Lies (now that's an appropriate name if I've ever seen one) claims he was once an avid listener to Coast to Coast AM but repents the fallacy of his ways and realizes the Face is just a pile of rocks. However, this jackass doesn't stop there. He goes on to call Richard Hoagland a "charlatan" without making one single reference to anything Hoagland has said that was knowingly untrue. He of course worships at the alter of Carl Sagan, without apparently realizing all of the the ways Sagan showed he was a Face supporter.
Taking Mr. Lies at his word, I guess the best thing you can say about the man is that he is an admitted sellout. He credits Hoagland for inspiring him to go into a science career, but I guess you forget all that when the NASA people are paying your mortgage, huh Mr. Lies?
As to the image itself, it shows many things we would have expected (and that Richard predicted) it would. It is also by far the worst MRO image that I have seen (isn't it funny how that always seems to happen only to Cydonia images?) and in my opinion, shows clear signs of image tampering. We will discuss all this in the future, but let's just say for now that the parts of the new image that we suspect are genuine absolutely support Hoagland's specific "honeycomb" model of the Face.
Richard and I will more to say on this in the near future, but for the moment, let's just remember "don't believe the Lies."

Yawn. You discredit yourself when you intentionally misspell Mr. Leis' name for your own personal wankery.
I also find your criticism of not providing evidence for Hoagland's chicanery incredibly ironic considering that you make claims that the images show evidence of tampering, yet you don't provide a shred of evidence for this claim.
I'm forced to agree with Steven. Desperate as I am to uncover the truth, we have to rise above the standard of those who do not believe there was once life oon the moon by convincing them using the scientific method. Isn't that what this site is about? Using established scientific methods to uncover the truth? Why should the standard of proof be any less revelent to us? I remember the first time I saw the "alien autopsy" footage. I knew the second my eyes laid on those images that the film was a bald face fakery. I couldn't prove it though I commented how obvious it should have been to anyone. But even after it was proven a hoax there are still people who believe (amazingly)that its real despite zero evidence. I do believe there's life out there. but until people such as yourself who run these web sites start showing scientific, quantifiable proof, it will be a site only fror those who agree and not for those who question the validity of your claims.

Kinda late for a comment but,...I have *never* considered the late Carl Sagan to be anything but an obstacle to these topics. Yet in
your blog you talk about, " all of the the ways Sagan showed he was a Face supporter." Can you elaborate?
I think this image is worse than the previous versions that show feline features etc.

My God. Even WITH the obvious image tamperings, the clear human head shape is enough evidence. Kind of like blurring the lunar towers and hoping no one will notice.

You can tell its been tampered with. All the other low res pics are clearer than the face ones. To me, I can see a side veiw of an astronaut. Round helmet, back pack..... tell me Im wrong.

where is the image from the united nations briefing in 1991 that richard c hogland did, the image is of a higher resolution. 90% more detail so why is that cat box image used it has totaly been white washed and smoothed over. and yes i do have very good screen shots of that 1991 cydonia face pyramid image, and that is exactly what it is, and do not forget about the other face pyramids on mars because there is more than two of them...
